"Men have created the silly concept called self-respect to give women false hope that through their clothing choices they can actually prevent unwanted attention and danger, because it is much easier and more convenient for men to dangle the unfulfilled promise of safety in women’s faces than to admit that the only reason that half of the world’s population feels unsafe is not due to showing off their shapely bodies in mini skirts or body con dresses, but due to men who harm women. Whether these ladies pass the self-respect test or not is irrelevant."
