Food Philosophies, And Why I Do Not Participate In Anti-Diet Culture
"Eating is deeply personal to every woman, and there is no right or wrong way to eat so long as you are nourishing your body and giving it what it needs. Anything on top of this responsibility to ourselves is a bonus, or an option. It is not a necessity.
Meaning, it is absolutely fine to view food solely as fuel, just like there is nothing wrong with seeing food as a source of pleasure. It is okay to eat smaller portions because you despise being full, and if you prefer to eat to fullness this is okay too.
How you choose to eat is what makes up your food philosophy. And yes, this can look drastically different than the guidelines given to us in the anti-diet culture space and still be healthy, sustainable and nourishing. Even fun."
